The board of directors of The Potter County Fair Association has made the decision to not move forward with the 2020 Potter County Fair, this is to include the Jr. Livestock Auction for 2020. The board has invested a great deal of time and energy gathering information from various sources prior to making this decision. This decision was made taking into account all aspects of the fair. We considered the safety and well being of all our volunteers, exhibitors, vendors and attendees. Given the CDC regulations and the Governor’s order of no gatherings greater than 250 individuals, we feel there is no way for us to continue this year. Other factors involved with our decision were liability and financial issues brought about by the Corona Pandemic. Given these unprecedented circumstances, there is no decision that we could have made to the satisfaction of the community at large and all parties involved.

While we realize not everyone will agree with this decision, it has been made with the best of intentions. The Fair Board of Directors is very disappointed to have to make this decision. We would like to thank everyone for their patience and continued support as we maneuver through these troubled times.
